Whenever I spend any time with an artist, I love checking out his or her black books or sketch books. Some of my favorite pieces never leave those books. And, oh, the insight I get into the raw talent that may exist! I especially love checking out Bishop 203's black books -- with everything from meticulous "writing" -- as pictured here -- to his original off-beat characters.
